Summary
Hill McGlynn is excited to partner with a leading builder to recruit a CPCS Crane Supervisor / Slinger for an exciting new project in Folkestone.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and safety-conscious individual to contribute to a high-profile project within a dynamic and professional team.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all lifting operations on-site, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Operating as a slinger/signaller when required to assist with lifting operations.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and lifting plans.
- Coordinating with crane operators and site teams to facilitate smooth operations.
- Conducting pre-use checks on lifting equipment and reporting any defects.
Skills & Experience:
- Valid CPCS Crane Supervisor & Slinger/Signaller tickets (essential).
- Previous experience in a similar role on a construction site.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety protocols.
- Valid CSCS card (preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to safety.
Role Details:
- Start Date: Immediate.
- Location: Folkestone.
- Project: New mixed use development.
- Duration: Ongoing.
- Pay: £24 per hour (CIS pay).
