Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday
We are looking for experienced shoe makers to join our team. Previous experience in a footwear manufacturing environment is essential. Experience in either Lasting, Making or Shoe Room departments is preferable. However, any successful candidate will receive further training in our ways of working.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
-Previous experience in shoe manufacturing in a Lasting/insoles , Prep, Machinery work, Making Room and/or Shoe Room role is preferable.
-A willingness to learn and adapt to our ways of working.
-Strong team player who is also comfortable with working independently and is self-motivated.
-Focus on ensuring work is to the highest levels of quality & to the Edward Green Standard.
-Able to prioritise the work to meet production needs.
-Work with Supervisors to address specific quality or production problems where required.
-A good understanding of shoe making Machinery.
-Ensuring departmental machinery and equipment is kept clear and in good working order.
