Summary

As a highly selective catholic sixth form, CTK Aquinas specialises in A Level education for young people aged 16-19, offering a challenging and diverse ‘Super-Curriculum’, across more than 20 A Level subjects. In 2023 the Sixth Form was rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted. Our students are talented, motivated and academically able young people, with highly ambitious university and career aspirations.

We are now seeking an exceptional A-Level practitioner who has the ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning in A Level Psychology to young people aged 16-19.

You will join a talented staff team in a successful Sixth Form and will be supported to develop your teaching practice in an environment of positive encouragement and mutual respect. You’ll provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, stretching and challenging your students to reach their potential. You will ensure they feel confident about going out into the world and being extraordinary in life and in their future career. You will benefit from joining a strong established team and benefit from working in a vibrant, supportive environment where your skills and qualities will be highly valued and staff well-being and development are enshrined in the Sixth Form mission statement.

Salary is based on SFCA teaching spine points 1-9 £35,125 to £51,758 inclusive of London Weighting.
