We have a new opportunity for a part-time Children and Family Domestic Abuse Worker located in our Northallerton outreach team.
You will assess the needs of children and young people aged between 10 to 16 years and their families on an individual basis in relation to their experiences of domestic abuse and provide a personalised programme of support
You will also help support families of children displaying abusive behaviour within the family home or in their own intimate relationships. You will use personalised support programmes, group work and individual sessions to work with them and their parents to help minimise children and young people’s harmful behaviours and to challenge negative perceptions gained from their experiences of unhealthy relationships and domestic abuse.
