Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our production team in Bradford as an F&K Foam CNC Operator.
This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of foam components using CNC machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine operation, maintenance, and quality assurance while contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and program F&K Foam CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in production.
Set up and adjust CNC machines according to production specifications and requirements.
Perform quality checks to verify that finished products meet company standards and specifications.
Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow, meet production targets, and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Support other production functions when needed, including operating alternative machinery.
Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience with Foam Conversion Equipment, F&K Foam CNC machines, and Band Knives is highly desirable.
Proven experience operating Material Cutting CNC machines such as Gerber or Assyst Bullmer is advantageous.
Previous experience in the manufacturing of medical devices is desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machine issues.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production team.
Good verbal communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability.
Excellent timekeeping, attendance, and attention to detail.
