# Key Responsibilities
1. *Service Delivery*: Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. *Team Management*: Supervise and support care staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
3. *Client Care*: Develop and implement personalized care plans, conducting assessments and reviews to ensure optimal service delivery.
4. *Quality Assurance*: Monitor and improve service quality, implementing quality control measures and addressing complaints.
5. *Compliance*: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., CQC, GDPR).
6. *Budgeting*: Assist with budget management, controlling expenditures and optimizing resources.
7. *Communication*: Liaise with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
8. *Policy Development*: Contribute to policy and procedure development, ensuring best practices.
9. *Audits and Inspections*: Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections.
10. *Deputizing*: Act as Registered Manager in their absence.
# Essential Skills and Qualifications
1. *Qualifications*: Diploma/NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
2. *Experience*: Minimum 2 years in domiciliary care management.
3. *Leadership*: Proven leadership and management skills.
4. *Communication*: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. *Problem-Solving*: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. *Time Management*: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
7. *IT*: Proficient in Microsoft Office and care management software.
8. *Knowledge*: Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
# Desirable Skills and Qualifications
1. *Additional Qualifications*: Qualifications in care management, nursing, or social work.
2. *Specialized Training*: Training in dementia care, palliative care, or other specialized areas.
