Now’s your chance! We are offering an exciting opportunity to train as a swim teacher and work for your local Active Lifestyle
Centre!
You will gain a Nationally recognised Swim Teaching Qualification with the possibility of further career development within the
Leisure Industry.
If you’re looking to develop new skills, or thinking of a change in career then we would love to hear from you!
This course is being held at Yate Active Lifestyle Centre on the following dates:
04/04/2025 - 4:00pm - 9:00pm
05/04/2025 - 12:00pm - 6:30pm
07/04/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm
08/04/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm
10/04/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm
11/04/2025 - 9:00am - 6:30pm
Full attendance is required.
During the application and interview process, you will be asked to indicate your preference for fixed hours of work (contracted)
or working for us on an “as and when required” (casual) basis. Please note the following for each:
Contracted: We will fund 100% of the course, subject to you signing a training agreement. The training agreement stipulates that
you must agree to repay in full the cost of the training if you:
* Leave the organisation during your first 12 months of employment
* Do not complete the STA Course
* Are dismissed for any reason other than redundancy
Casual: We will fund 50% of the course and you will fund the remaining 50% subject to you signing a training agreement. The
training agreement stipulates that you must agree to repay in full Circadian Trust’s contribution to the cost of the training if
you:
* Leave the organisation during your first 12 months of work
* Do not complete the STA Course
* Do not work for a period of three consecutive months

Kingswood - Casual roles only
Bradley Stoke - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows:
Tuesday 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Thursday 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Saturday 9:30am - 12:00pm
Thornbury - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows:
Friday 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Yate - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows:
Tuesday 4:00pm - 6:30pm
Wednesday - 4:00pm - 6:30pm
Thursday - 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Saturday - 9:30am - 11:30am
Sunday - 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Longwell Green - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows:
Monday - 4:00pm - 7:30pm
Tuesday - 4:00pm - 6:30pm
Wednesday - 4:00pm - 7:30pm
