Summary
We're recruiting for an experienced pig stockperson for a farm in Devon, EX22.
The successful candidate will join a large, well-established team within a forward-thinking pig enterprise. You will work predominantly within the unit’s weaner/grower section, where accommodation is fully slatted with an automatic dry feed system.
Our client is looking for an individual who:
Has good pig husbandry skills
Is passionate about the pig industry
Has excellent attention to detail
Is willing to learn and get stuck in - the right attitude is key
Has high welfare standards
There is excellent potential for progression with opportunities in other departments, and ongoing training will be given if required.
Salary guide: £26,000 - £34,000 doe
Plus:
Family and single-person housing available
32 days holiday
Workplace pension
Hours: 7 am – 4 pm working every other weekend.
