Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next challenge? Restore Datashred is seeking a skilled professional to join our team, managing and collecting customer accounts while ensuring high levels of satisfaction and minimising debtor balances.
As the primary point of contact for credit control matters, you will work closely with major clients and internal teams to resolve debt issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to managing company debts, attending meetings with key stakeholders, handling court proceedings, and supporting colleagues across the division.
Key Responsibilities
Take a proactive role in managing and collecting company debts
Act as the main point of contact for credit control issues within your ledger
Attend meetings with major customers and the Sales team to discuss debt-related matters
Handle court paperwork, ensuring all deadlines are met
Manage customers going through liquidation processes to a satisfactory resolution
Collaborate with cash allocations and invoicing teams to maintain high standards
Work cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve customer issues
Maintain detailed credit control records and regularly issue customer statements
Provide cover for other credit control team members when required
Meet KPIs set by the line manager
About You
Experience managing large, multi-location blue-chip clients
Strong background in handling technical and legal credit issues
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse large volumes of data
Proven ability to work to strict deadlines
CICM qualification is an advantage
