YOLO Recruitment are in need for level 3 qualified Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician for their clients prestige dealership in Hertfordshire.
Hours for this Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic role: Monday to Friday and Saturday on a rota paid @ overtime.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak performance.
Duties:
• Liaising with service staff to establish the problem in the vehicle
• Inspecting vehicles to find faults
• Using computer software to diagnose defects in the vehicle
• Selecting appropriate parts for vehicle repairs
• Fitting new parts and repairing damaged or worn out parts
• Road testing vehicles before and after repairs
• Evaluating costs and giving price estimates for repairs
• Updating vehicle log books and providing appropriate paperwork
