Summary
As a Senior Mechanical Estimating Engineer, at one of our engineering clients in Warrington, you will lead the tendering process for major projects, ensuring the timely and profitable submission of proposals. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to prepare comprehensive estimates and drive project success.
What you will need
- Extensive experience in estimating for large-scale projects in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, utilities, and food & drink.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC, ONC, City & Guilds) in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong numeracy and English language skills for detailed quantity take-offs, cost assessments, and tender documentation.
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
