Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Based between Reading and Windsor
About the Role
Our client is a British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) accredited company based in Berkshire. They are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their expanding team. As a leading Trees and Grounds Management company, they work across Maidenhead, Reading, and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role suited to enthusiastic individuals who take pride in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces. Their work ranges from large-scale soft landscaping projects for commercial and residential clients to ongoing maintenance and aftercare.
Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting, strimming, and weeding
- Soft landscaping and hedge cutting
- Preparing the ground and laying turf
- Assisting with winter gritting operations
- General grounds maintenance tasks as required
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a similar role with grounds maintenance or soft landscaping
- Strong practical skills with grounds maintenance machinery and equipment
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to work
- Polite, well-presented, and able to work well as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence.
- Desirable (but not essential) Certifications: PA1 & PA6 Spraying, CS30 & CS31 Chainsaw Certification
