Band 2 –Medical Records Officer

North LondonBreast Screening Unit – Royal Free Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Work in one of the largest expanding Breast Screening Services Nationally.

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is the host trust for the North London Breast Screening Service (NLBSS), Central and East London Breast Screening Service (CELBSS) and the London Administration Hub

The North London Breast Screening Service is a friendly and dynamic unit based at Edgware Community Hospital that forms part of the National Health Service Breast Screening Programme. We provide breast screening and assessment services for eligible women across Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Haringey, Harrow and West Hertfordshire. Our eligible population is over 250,000 women who are invited for screening across a three year period.

The screening is currently provided at static units at Edgware Community Hospital, Finchley Memorial and Forest Road. The screening service also has 7 mobile units moving around our geographical area.

The post holder would be based at the North London Breast Screening Service, sited at Edgware Community Hospital and would be responsible for supporting the Breast screening Service in the correct processing and management of digital images, paperwork, film filing requirements. The service is 100% digital and has a Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) in place which is used for storage of all images.
