Summary

Deputy Nurse Manager – Supernumerary

Salary: £55,000 | 40 Hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Flexibility to work some weekends and cover nurse shifts is essential.

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join their dynamic care and nursing team in a purpose-built nursing home in Greenwich. This supernumerary role offers an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and operational support, working closely with the Nurse Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care.

What You’ll Need

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Proven experience in a leadership or deputy nurse manager role
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of best nursing practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing the nursing department and daily operations
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff
  • Develop, implement, and monitor care plans to meet residents' individual needs
  • Oversee the assessment and delivery of high-quality care
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and best practices
