Psychology Services Group are recruiting a Band 3 Business Administrator to join the National Security Division (NSD) Psychology team, which is part of the Psychology Counter Terrorism (CT) Team to contribute to the provision of psychological services.
The National Probation Service has introduced a specialist dedicated and highly skilled National Security Division, which provides an enhanced level of management and intervention for the most high-risk, complex and high-profile offenders in the community. The National Security Division is based across 5 geographical units (based in Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, London and Reading), and each unit has a Senior Psychologist allocated to the team.
There are several key elements to this role, based within the National Security Division Psychology Team:
Psychological services continues expanding in these areas of work. The post-holder will be actively involved in organising, producing and maintaining accurate records for area of work. As such, the post holder is required to be IT proficient, with advanced skills in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
The post-holder will be required to develop relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. In order to achieve this, there is a requirement to attend key meetings across the country. They will act as contact point for all communications to the team. Prioritise and distribute communications to the appropriate person or relevant department in establishment and interact with staff located in other establishments to exchange information.
The post holder will need excellent organisation skills and an ability to prioritise and manage their own work load amongst competing demands.
Due to the nature of this role and the information the post-holder will access, SC level vetting is required.
