Job Purpose:
I am a friendly, elderly lady seeking a compassionate and reliable self-employed, live-in carer to assist with my daily needs, on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off basis.

I am totally bedbound and fully incontinent, requiring pad changes and full personal care. However I am mentally alert and enjoy good conversation about topics such as football and dancing.

Female PA required due to personal care.

Location: Sprowston

Details:

  • Personal care: morning wash and daily hygiene routines
  • Meal preparation: 3 blended meals per day
  • Light housekeeping (my daughter completes the bulk of the household tasks)
  • Administrating medication: one tablet daily
  • Using mobility aids: equipment provided to assist with manual handling in bed.
Essential:
  • Friendly, caring and patient
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Registered as self-employed
  • Insured as a self-employed worker
Desirable:
  • Previous experience working in a care role

  • Self-employed position
  • The rate of pay for this position is £900 per week

The post is subject to the following:
  • A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
