Summary
What's involved with this role:
Temporary PT Senior Transport Development Planner
Ref number: Bristol 5263135
At least 1 day a week in the office. Tuesday in the office would be preference but can be flexible.
Must be required to work outside of normal office hours.
Must be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the city’s highway network.

Skills & Experience:
A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of transportation policies, regulations, and best practices.
Extensive experience in transportation planning, including project management and development.
Proven track record of leading complex transportation projects from inception to completion.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in transportation planning software and tools.
What's involved with this role: You will work at a senior technical/professional level in the Transport Development Management team to provide high level professional expertise.
Key responsibilities:
Provide technical advice and experience to assist in the teams' Development Control work programme.
Work with officers in planning, highways, structures, regeneration, housing and others (as appropriate) in order to progress the effective management of Planning Application and their impact on the public highway.
Be responsible for own safety and not endanger that of colleagues/visitors to the workplace.
