Summary
Job Overview:
We are working closely with a Local Authority to find experienced Non HGV Street Sweeper Drivers who can meet the demands of this exciting role. As an Sweeper driver, you will play a vital part in maintaining cleanliness and safety in urban environments.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and Operate Sweepers: Safely operate street sweepers or other cleaning vehicles to clean streets, parking lots, and other areas.
- Perform Inspections and Repairs: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the sweeper vehicle, reporting any issues or necessary repairs to maintenance staff.
- Clean Up and Maintain Areas: Effectively remove debris, dirt, leaves, litter, and other materials from designated areas, ensuring surfaces are clean and safe.
- Ongoing Site Visits: Visit various sites throughout the day, performing tasks such as jet washing and gully emptying as required.
Working Schedule: Work standard Monday to Friday hours, with additional hours possible during peak periods or to support specific projects.
