Our client has a vacancy for a CNC programmer/operator to work with the production of various stone products such as worktops, vanity units and bespoke items made from stone.
Duties
• As CNC programmer/operator you will be responsible for cutting and polishing stone slabs for kitchen worktops, vanity tops and other bespoke projects
• Dealing with the raw material from the beginning to the final phase
• Inputting programs to machines cutting shapes to required CAD drawings
• Creating bespoke products for clients
• Training colleagues on operation of CNC machines and programming.
Qualities and experience
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Experience using stone-cutting machinery and hand tools.
• experience as a CNC Machine Programmer/Operator
• Mechanical knowledge
• Fabrication experience
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Materials handling skills
• Tooling knowledge
