Summary
A wonderful family based in Belgravia, London, is seeking a part-time nanny to care for their school-aged child. They are looking for a responsible, bilingual nanny who speaks Spanish and can support the child's learning and development. The ideal candidate will be pet-friendly, as the family has a dog, though no pet care is required. It would be a bonus if the nanny is flexible enough to accompany them on occasional trips to Europe once or twice a year.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and Friday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, approximately 20 hours per week plus additional babysitting if needed
Duties include:
Ensuring the child's hygiene through regular bathing and grooming
Prioritising the child's safety, well-being, and overall development
Maintaining a clean, organised, and tidy bedroom and play area for the child
Arranging and coordinating playdates
Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
Promoting early literacy by reading books together
Assisting with homework and supporting the child’s academic progress
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines for structure and development
Handling childcare-related housekeeping tasks
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child's needs
