Crynodeb
Applications are invited for a substantive full-time (1.0 WTE) Consultant MSK and Trauma radiologist. The appointment will strengthen the established team of radiologists. The successful candidate will have completed formal training in radiology, and will have experience in MSK ultrasound, procedures, and all aspects of MSK/ trauma cross-sectional imaging and plain film reporting. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the general work of the department which includes the provision of 7-day consultant led reporting through scheduled but flexible and infrequent weekend sessions and the provision of an extended weekday consultant reporting service. An interest in training and research is strongly encouraged in accordance with the strategic aims of the Academic Health Sciences Centre. Key areas of responsibilities: Provide high quality care to patients in Imaging Research, teaching and training Performance management Medical staff management Governance Strategy and business planning Leadership and team working The applicants must hold their CCT in Radiology or be on the GMC Speciality Register, or be within 6 months of being granted a CCT.Candidates who wish to work only part-time are encouraged to apply, as are applicants interested in job-sharing.
