Summary
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator to work with our client, who is a Waste Management specialist, based in the Leicester, Le4 area.
Pay Rate
£13.30
Shift Pattern
Monday – Friday - Rotating
shift 1 - 5am - 2pm
shift 2 - 1pm to 10pm
Duties and responsibilities
- Operating Mobile Plant Operator
- Operating compactors, Shovel Loader
- Loading lorries with bales
- General cleaning
Requirements
- Loading Shovel License
Duties
· Ensure the Health and Safety of yourselves and others in line with the procedures and H&S legislation
· Ensure process service requirements are completed in line with environmental site licences, permit conditions, procedures and instructions.
· Provide operator support to processing operations to ensure output targets are achieved on a weekly basis. Operatives will be expected to operate Mobile Plant, Weighbridge, SCADA, Shunter, Baler and Banksman roles as required.
· Complete any reasonable tasks and operations assigned by supervisors or line manager.
· Maintain the site and working areas in a clean, tidy and safe state at all times.
· Communicate to all members of the workforce with respect and in a professional manner.
· Engage in company initiatives, briefings and toolbox talks with focus and attention.
· Complete documentation and data entries as per role requirements.
· Follow procedures instruction and training at all times. If you are unsure, ask.
· Request all holidays at least 2 weeks in advance. Phase holiday allowance throughout yea
