Summary
We have excellent opportunity to join a long-established foundry in Stockton on Tees.
To keep up with growing business demands, and assist in manufacturing of high integrity complex castings, including large diesel engine components, compressors and pumps, we are looking to increase our existing workforce with experienced Fettlers. You will need to work proactively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment ensuring quality products are finished and despatched on time.
Key Criteria; Fettler / Metal Grinder
Experience in a similar role working within heavy industry / Foundry grinding and fettling iron castings, working with high cycle grinders and hand tools is essential.
This role is very physically demanding.
Environment:
• A dirty working environment which may be hot or cold weather dependant.
• You will need to wear the appropriate PPE for this role.
Skills:
• Experienced Fettler
• Good communication skills
• Good organisational skills
• Accurate, precise and practical
Personal qualities:
• Enthusiastic
• Self-motivated
• Punctual
• Must be reliable
