Summary
Personal Assistant required :
"We are looking for a bubbly and energetic carer to work with our son (9), helping him with getting ready for the day and exploring the local community . This role is both within the home and in the community.
Our son, is a 9 year old, full time wheelchair user. He loves to tell jokes, sing, bake, eat out and to go shopping!
Our son, requires support with getting dressed, personal cares and some support with eating.
The role
. 35 hours available
. Working pattern: varies but hours are during the day
. some opportunities to work overtime during the weekend and school holidays
. Looking for an immediate start date
. Temporary role
The candidate must have:
. some experience of working with children who have disabilities.
. Live near to the BD7 area
. No driving license required.
. A valid Enhanced DBS is required (ideally, the candidate would already be on the update service)
Rate of pay is £11.44 per hour. There is some flexibility around working hours and annual leave entitlement. "
