Summary
The principal duties of this post are to contribute to a comprehensive clinical suppurative lung disease service. This encompasses adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) and bronchiectasis patients Specifically you will provide:- Inpatient and outpatient and regional care to cystic fibrosis and PCD patients under the regional Wessex Adult CF service and specialist PCD service - Support to the Cystic Fibrosis Home IV service by providing virtual ward rounds- Care to inpatient and outpatient adult non-CF bronchiectasis patients- There may be opportunities to contribute to other related specialist services within the department, based on service need and the particular skills of the successful applicant- You will have opportunity to contribute actively to the diverse commercial and academic research program of the department The successful candidate must be registered with the GMC with a valid licence to practise. Individuals wishing to apply must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). The successful candidate will be employed under the terms and conditions of service for Consultants (England) 2003.
