What you’ll be doing
- Serving customers food and beverage items. Operating tills, handling cash and cashing up procedures
- Cleaning of kitchen and kitchen equipment, back of house areas, crockery and cutlery
- Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, food preparation and public areas
- Perform daily paperwork and keep diligent records as required.
- Assist with deliveries and monthly stock takes
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
- Complete in-house and online training as assigned
- Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work
Experience
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Level 2 (desirable although relevant training will be provided)
- Experience in a similar role desirable but not necessary
- Basic numeracy skills
- Shift patterns may vary to fit the business
- Must be able to work in all areas of the business if required (including kitchen and bar duties)
- Transport required (remote area with limited public transport)
- Reasonable overtime to help with Functions
- DSB check required
