Main Purpose of the Job

As an experienced minute taker, you will play a crucial role in documenting accurate and

comprehensive minutes of meetings held across Spring Hill School. You will be responsible for

capturing key discussions, decisions, and action points.

In addition, the post holder will be required to covering Reception as required. As the first point of contact with the School, and with emphasis on customer service and care, the postholder will be required to provide effective and efficient operation of the School’s telephone system and gated entry system, answering and directing incoming calls, taking messages for unavailable staff and forwarding these on, dealing with external and internal enquiries both via the telephone system or at Reception welcoming visitors to site and ensuring safeguarding measures are in place in respect of visitors to site.

Spring Hill School is situated in the outskirts of Ripon in the beautiful county of North Yorkshire. Spring Hill School is a residential SEN School and Children’s Home.
