Summary
We are seeking a warm, dedicated, and culturally sensitive Companionship Carer to support a lovely elderly lady in the comfort of her own home. This rewarding role involves providing compassionate care while respecting and embracing the client’s Caribbean culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve breakfast.
• Reminding the client to complete their personal care independently.
• Cook nutritious Caribbean meals.
• Light housekeeping and domestic duties.
• Prompt and assist with medication.
• Provide companionship and ensure the client feels safe, comfortable, and supported.
Essential Requirements:
• A genuine passion for caring for vulnerable adults in their own home.
• An understanding of Caribbean culture and cuisine.
• Strong communication skills to engage with the client effectively.
• A qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent (e.g., Maths and English qualifications).
