Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced pharmacist to take up the role of patient services pharmacist at Queens Hospital Romford.
Barking, Havering and Redbridge Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest acute hospital Trusts in England serving a richly diverse population of over 750,000.

The post holder will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the day to day pharmacists’ workload within the dispensary at Queen’s Hospital and supporting the pharmacy department in providing a comprehensive, patient orientated pharmacy services in the dispensary and at ward level throughout Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT). He/she will work closely with senior colleagues and technicians to ensure the provision of an integrated and efficient service.

We operate from two main sites – KGH in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford. We have two busy emergency departments with more than 330,000 people visiting them last year. We’re campaigning to secure the £35m we need totransform the A&E at Queen’sand get rid of corridor care.
Our patients are benefitting from ourWomen’s Health Hubin Ilford; anAgeing Well Centrein Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) atBarking Community Hospitaland atSt George’s Health and Wellbeing Hubin Hornchurch.
These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and are providing an extra 88,000 scans a year.
