Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) is a company set up by Colchester Borough Council. As part of the local business community since 2003, we are an award-winning organisation, providing management and maintenance services to around 7,000 residential, commercial and public buildings throughout the Borough, including the Councils housing stock, Colchester Castle and Colchester Town Hall.
About the role:
We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance Team. Within this role you will support the Director of Resources and Head of Finance to develop all financial aspects of Colchester Borough Homes. Effectively leading and managing the accounts officers in line with the company strategic objectives.
You will have:
Recognised financial account qualification (ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA).
Strong knowledge of finance and accounting legislation, budget preparation. maintaining financial systems and closure of accounts.
Ability to apply strategic decisions to an operational environment.
Ability to translate complex financial statements into everyday language.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Customer and quality focus
Be Highly innovative, accurate and numerate.
