Summary
Duties and Responsibilities Medical Education Aid the Post Graduate Education lead in overseeing education for all grades of medical practitioners in the department Contribute to the development and delivery of the educational programmes within the Emergency Department. This will include the Adult or Paediatric educational content of the East Midlands Healthcare Workforce Deanery VLE to facilitate blended Develop and enhance the Departmental Simulation programme Maintain and develop the departmental FOAMed content for org.uk and contributing to RCEM Learning where able Support the facilitation of WBPA (dedicated shop floor teaching sessions and CBD clinics) Work within the Emergency Department Educational Team who will be responsible to the Medical Director and Associate Medical Director for Medical Education Link with the UHL Educational strategy focussing on quality and governance Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education Understand the core principles and issues in Medical Education The principles of learning Teaching and Learning in the clinical setting Curriculum Design, implementation and monitoring Assessing the learner
