Summary
To operate textile machinery which involves the finishing of yarns including Reeling, Balling, Winding and yarn track steaming.
To operate textile machinery on other floors as required by the site manager.
Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed.
Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production.
Conduct quality checks periodically.
Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly.
Keep working area tidy.
Attention to detail essential to maintain accurate weights of finished products.
Work in line with safe working procedures to ensure the safety of all members of staff or visiting contractors.
Must be reliable and a good time keeper.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm (includes one hour of unpaid breaks).
20 days A/L per annum plus Bank Holidays and pay during company Christmas shutdown period.
Company Uniform Provided/Free Parking On Site.
