Job Purpose/Summary:
We are seeking a driven, dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join the Analox team and to play a pivotal role in our
achievement of our significant growth ambitions. The role will be required to further develop and lead our marketing and
communications function, ensuring all marketing activities are aligned to our Company and sales & marketing strategies. You will
oversee all aspects of marketing including brand development & management across all markets, market research, campaigns, product
launches/go to market, digital marketing, content creation, events & exhibitions management and more. You will also be fulfilling
the role of Defence subject matter expert (SME) within the marketing team. to ensure close collaboration with the sales team to
shape and deliver growth/ strategy.
To raise brand awareness with appropriate and cost effective sophisticated mass-market campaigns whilst ensuring our brand message
is strong and consistent across all channels.
Main Responsibilities/Key Tasks:
* Lead and manage a small team of marketing personnel, including sub contractors in the UK and potentially other territories (eg
USA)
* Develop and execute the group marketing strategy in line with the company’s growth ambitions, sales strategy and to support the
delivery & achievement of the group sales plan.
* Set, monitor and manage leading growth KPIs such as lead generation, digital engagement and opportunity generation.
* A commitment to continuous improvement. Actively seeks to optimise processes and develop efficiency gains through automation
and technology.
* Ensure our website and digital marketing provides an excellent user experience tailored to the needs of our diverse markets.
* Maintain and develop brand value and its positioning
* Utilise and maximise the value obtained through our Salesforce CRM to best in class marketing utilisation.
* Research markets and applications of interest and lead market sprint report generation and detailed Market Feasibility reports
in cooperation with the sales and product functions.
* Formulate and execute Go to Market and Product Launch strategies for new products in new emerging applications markets.
* Proactively preselect and recommend suitable exhibitions, seminars and networking events, collaborating with the sales teams to
downselect and execute these events to ensure maximum return on investment is achieved.
* Manage group exhibition schedule including all organisational and logistical tasks associated with exhibiting, and attending
exhibitions in the UK and around the world as required.
* Manage relevant trade bodies, industry associations and associated memberships.
* Implement and develop product marketing and a robust go to market strategy for new product releases
* Embed the core market value propositions into marketing communications
* Promote the brand and networking at exhibitions, trade shows and customer meetings and identifying events for future core and
potential core markets inline with the product market strategy
* Analyse our core and future market positioning and develop a communication strategy to enable us to reach our market goals
(e.g. white papers, presentations, sponsorship)
* Monitor key competitor activities in terms of media presence, market feedback and new product introductions/ improvements.
* Forecast and track budgets and ROI on marketing activities whilst ensuring financial and resource decisions are made in the
best interests of the group
* Ensure compliance with applicable legal and statutory requirements such as copyright and GDPR legislation.
* Support the wider business with marketing activities - e.g. recruitment, internal marketing of events etc.
