Summary

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Children's Minister to join our team and lead our children's ministry. The ideal candidate will be expected to assume the following responsibilities and possess many of these qualities.
Responsibilities Include:
• Preparing and leading Children’s Sunday School Bible Lessons.
• Coordinating the work of other children’s Bible teachers and helpers.
• Planning and coordinating events such as Children’s Week, Children’s Easter, Children’s Christmas program, and Missions events.
• Arranging for children’s christenings, baptisms, and communion services.
• Informing the Resident Pastor of the program's direction, needs, and development.
• Overseeing the program needs of the Children’s Worship Team, facilitating worship programs, and recruiting volunteers for weekly Children’s Worship time.
• Providing approximately one monthly activity for the children and/or the families participating in children’s ministry.
• Establishing positive relationships with young congregation members and their families
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong ability to prepare and lead engaging children’s bible lessons and worship sessions.
2. Excellent organizational skills for planning and executing various children's events and activities.
3. Effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, volunteers, and church leadership.
4. Ability to establish positive relationships with children and their families.
5. Innovative thinking to create fun and educational activities and lessons.
6. Aptitude for resolving any issues that arise within the children’s ministry.
7. Collaboration skills to work well with other teachers, helpers, and volunteers.
8. Willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of the ministry and its participants.
9. A genuine passion for children's spiritual growth and well-being.
10. Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality.
11. Qualification in Theology, Religious Studies, Education and the related field, or any relevant certifications in child safety, first aid, or religious education as an added advantage.
12. Previous experience in children’s ministry, education, or a related role.
