I’m a retired, disabled 62 years young woman living alone in Horfield, Bristol. I have several long-term health conditions / impairments, and the amount I can do for myself varies a lot. I need a Personal Assistant (PA) who can support me: helping me to do things I used to be able to do for myself, in the ways that I choose to do them. Some training is available.
You need to be honest and reliable, and be fit enough to do things like carrying shopping or hoovering the stairs. You need to have some previous experience of supporting people, whether that was paid or unpaid. A sense of humour is a must!
You'll need to provide a reference from someone who isn't a relative, and please note that you'll be paid through PAYE (not cash in hand).Because of the personal care involved, this job is open only to women. You need to be a good driver with your own car (mileage expenses paid).Main duties· Help with getting clean and dressed· Help with managing medication· Housework· Shopping· Food preparation & cooking· Supporting me to go swimming· Supporting me to get to & from activities & appointments· Supporting me with craft activities· Basic admin, eg filing, using email, typing documents· Other reasonable tasks I ask you to do
