Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver Class 2 Driver Required
The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 driver to fill a position in the NG2 area. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 2 Licence with CPC and DIGI card and must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience. The role is ongoing working Mon to Fri, Mon to Sat or Tues to Sun and overtime is offered after 8 hours daily.
The position is for a well established retail DIY store. You will be based out of the Nottingham site delivering products to customers. You will have a drivers mate with you to assist you with your deliveries.
Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Multidrop Customer facing Ensuring goods are safely secured Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs Completing delivery paperwork Pay Rates Monday to Friday - £14.75 an hour Overtime after 8 hours - £22.12 an hour Saturdays - £22.12 Sundays and Bank Holidays - £29.50 Requirements of the Class 2 Driver A valid full category C licence Must have a current LGV C licence with Drivers CPC and Digi card Demonstrate excellent communication skills Work well with others as part of a team Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail No more than 6 points on your licence
