Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for EYFS & KS1

Job Type: Full Time & Permanent
Starting Date: September 2025
Salary: Leadership Point 4 9, £53,602 to £60,644 (depending on experience)

The Governing Board wish to appoint a dynamic and energetic Assistant Headteacher to join our dedicated school team. This is an exciting opportunity new role to drive innovative practice in developing our EYFS Hub and provide leaderships throughout EYFS & KS1.

As Assistant Headteacher, you will work alongside our Headteacher and existing Senior Leadership Team to provide vision, direction and leadership in order to build on our strengths and further develop our school.

We are looking for someone who:

is an excellent practitioner, delivering consistently high-quality lessons and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all children, ensuring all children achieve their potential
has excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
is driven and motivated
is a team member who can maintain and develop our strong school ethos built around our Core Values;
has experience at leadership level with a proven record of raising academic standards as a direct result of their leadership and teaching
is positive, approachable and supportive to other stakeholders
is able to work effectively with the leadership team to drive identified priorities forward and have an impact on pupils
is committed to being an integral part of the wider school community
