Summary
Job Title: Room Leader
Location: Vauxhall, London
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company as a Baby Room Leader. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to lead a dedicated team in providing high-quality care and a nurturing environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team to create a warm, nurturing environment for children.
- Work in partnership with parents, ensuring strong communication and collaboration.
- Maintain a cosy, engaging, and stimulating setting for young children.
- Support and motivate staff, ensuring high standards of care and education.
- Oversee and review observations, reports, and documentation for parents.
- Utilise strong IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Organise daily schedules, ensuring smooth operations.
- Ensure children get outdoor time at the local park twice a day.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery setting.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Confident in working with IT systems for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to manage paperwork efficiently and check observations and reports.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about early childhood development.
