Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to be part of our team of dedicated staff at The Gingerbread Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance, repair work, groundskeeping, painting and decorating, and health and safety at our Rothesay Court site.

Overview:
This is an essential role that requires a variety of skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

The ability to multi-task is a must, with the capacity to work in a busy environment, using your initiative to identify and prioritise jobs that need addressing, including any Health and Safety concerns. You will also need to be adaptable.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday at our Rothesay Court site, but may be required to provide support to other Gingerbread premises as and when needed.

As well as experience in maintenance, repair work, groundskeeping, painting and decorating, you will need to have:
• excellent communication skills
• excellent attention to detail
• flexibility
• willingness to undertake training
• knowledge of Health and Safety practices and regulations
• a full driver’s licence and own vehicle
• the ability to identify and prioritise tasks

Hours: 37 Hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm and Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

Salary: £24,442.71 per annum
