Hours per week: 37 hours per week
Contract Length: Anticipated 12 months
Location: Reading, West Berkshire - hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Relationship Manager to develop and maintain strong partnerships with key business stakeholders. In this role, you will align IS services with business priorities, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of technology-driven initiatives. You will lead negotiations, act as a proxy customer within IS, and contribute to strategic planning by bridging the gap between business needs and technological advancements.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in IT relationship management and a strong ability to engage and influence complex stakeholders. You should possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of IT services, and the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences. If you have a proven track record in Senior Business Relationship Management and the expertise to shape business strategy through technology, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Creation and maintenance of roadmaps which describe the key business drivers, and the IS services that will be provided in response.
Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships; a trusted member of the business partner unit.
Increasing awareness within business partners of IS products and services, and how these can support the business now and in the future.
Facilitate productive stakeholder connections and mobilise projects and programs; active engagement rather than passive response.



Key requirements:

Strong previous experience in a Senior Business Relationship Management role
Strong IT Knowledge and ability to converse with IT technical teams and translate to non-technical
stakeholders
Significant experience managing complex stakeholders
Previous experience in IT relationship management
Commercially astute, persuasive and customer focussed
Proven ability to negotiate in a complex commercial environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Substantial experience of managing contractual relationships
