Personal Assistant required to support female aged 12 years who lives in Bishop Auckland.Female with Autism and sensory processing disorder requiring 1 to 1 support with getting out in the community/ some activities and also some looking after at home.Hours /Wage3 hours per week term time6 hours per week during school holidaysHours flexible, to be arranged£12 per hour
DutiesIdeally the term time hours to be every other weekend if possible but flexible with hours for the right applicant. Female is happy/easy going but does require high level of support due to learning difficulties.She enjoys activities such as the trampoline Park, sensory rooms, swings, swimming, sensory gardens, music and general walks. She will require headphones and ipad at all times so any activity would have to allow for this (apart from swimming) She also enjoys to spend time at home so some hours may be required for her to be looked after at home if necessary .Additional Requirements/InformationAny experience with Autism/additional needs/sensory issues would be preferred.Applicant ideally needs to be patient kind and understandingDriving licence and own car required(Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost)
