What you'll do

You’ll enable the translation of the Chief Operating Office’s (CIO) strategic priorities through clear technology change programmes and project lifecycles to deliver sustainable business and customer outcomes, while making sure that all governance, risk, finances and resources are managed effectively. You’ll have an understanding of the functions and franchises CIO supports and the domains and platforms it maintains, whilst building strong partnerships across the bank to support effective delivery.

You’ll also

  • Contribute to the financial business case for the programmes
  • Work with the Technology delivery teams to make sure that appropriate resources are assigned to deliver the programme.
  • Build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions, influencing decision making in line with business objectives.
  • Manage programme level risks, assumptions, issues and dependenciesUnderstand the impacts other programmes may have and manage the dependencies

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll need to hold an appropriate programme management qualification such as MSP or Agile.

You’ll also need:

  • Demonstrable background in delivering programme management in a Technology or IT function
  • Knowledge and experience of RBSI Technology Domains and Platforms
  • Experience of implementing best practices, especially around scalability, automation, optimisation and performance.
  • Knowledge of managing and controlling costs to a budget successfully
  • Experience of delivering strategic programmes that support the business strategy and its growth agenda
