If you have experience as a teaching assistant, hold a Level 5 qualification and are looking for an exciting new challenge, it’s time to step into a role where you can truly shape the future. As part of our dynamic Apprenticeships team, you’ll work closely with the Apprenticeships Manager to play a key role in guiding and assessing the progress of Level 3, 4, and 5 teaching assistant apprentices.

As a Coach/Assessor, this is a chance to not only support and coach learners, but also to make a lasting impact by developing and writing curriculum for cutting-edge apprenticeship courses. Your expertise will empower our apprentices to thrive, successfully complete their courses, and set them up for success in their careers.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you will be educated to Level 5 or have equivalent relevant experience together with excellent numeracy and literacy skills (minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths or equivalent or working towards). Experience of delivering on-the-job training to staff is highly desirable.

You should also:

• hold a minimum of a Level 5 qualification in Education (e.g. PGCE/CertEd/QTS etc.)
• have experience of working as a Teacher or Teaching Assistant (minimum of 3 years).
• hold a minimum of a Level 2 English and Maths / GCSE equivalents.
• have good organisational skills and the ability to plan your time effectively.
• be confident and professional, with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• hold a full, clean, UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• be flexible with travel.
• be able to use ICT effectively
• have good communication skills
