Summary

We are seeking an Exams Assistant to be based at our Stornoway campus.

Position: We are seeking an Exams Assistant to be based at our Stornoway campus.

Responsibilities: The post holder will assist in all aspects of the service provided by the Examinations and Quality Team. You will ensure that all awarding body legislation for our exam centre is met, and support quality assurance, enhancement and improvement processes being implemented, maintained and evaluated. You will work closely with our engagement team in the campus.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidate will have a good general standard of education with a minimum SCQF Level 6. Experience of using computerised administration systems and working in a professional office environment are essential. You must have good communication skills and have strong attention to detail/accuracy skills. An HNC Level 7 in an administration or business area or equivalent experience would be advantageous.

A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.

Salary: £25,875 - £27,431 per annum, pro rata. Plus Islands Allowance

Location: Stornoway

Working Hours: 24 hours per week, Permanent

Closing Date: 5pm, Wednesday 26th February 2025
