Your new company
Based on the outskirts of Glasgow, our client is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is office based and the hours of work are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am - 2.30pm. The organisation can be accessed by local public transport and there is on-site parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a team of 5, the Management Accountant will undertake a range of responsibilities. This is a newly created role and your duties will include but will not be limited to; producing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset register maintenance, bank reconcilations, assisting with sales & purchase ledger and intercompany invoicing, preparing cash flows, financial analysis (including cost, margins and profitability), monthly reporting and general associated tasks. The IT system used is Sage.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a similarly varied accounts role is essential. Training can be provided in areas in which you are less experienced, but proven management accounting experience is required. You will be an organised individual who can work to deadlines and manage a diverse workload. You will be able to work to your own initiative whilst operating as part of a team.
