Summary

McGinley are seeking an experienced Streetworks Ganger to supervise a trial hole gang on a busy infrastructure project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing trial hole excavation works, ensuring compliance with NRSWA regulations, coordinating site activities, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a trial hole gang, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Plan and oversee trial hole excavations to locate underground utilities.
  • Ensure compliance with NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) regulations and local authority permits.
  • Liaise with site management, utility companies, and local authorities as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor Ticket (Essential)
  • CSCS Card (Essential)
  • Safety critical medical ( essential)
  • Highways passport (essential)
  • Previous experience as a Ganger or Supervisor on streetworks and trial hole projects
  • Strong knowledge of utility detection and service avoidance procedures
  • Experience with CAT & Genny scanning
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations and ability to enforce safe working practices
  • Ability to lead a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
