Summary
We have a great opportunity for a Temporary Works / Construction Manager working with a fit out contractor in the West End London
The Project is valued circa £7M and tend to be fit out projects. You will be responsible for managing the site and will have to be an expert in Temporary Works and they will include some external works also.
You will be reporting to the Project Manager daily. Whilst managing the site, you must also be maintaining a high standard of health & safety while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
The project is working in a live environment throughout the day thus the need for an experienced TWC / manager to come in and push the programme at night, it is essential that the manager is a programme pusher. The project will involve, Alterations, lifting of a double helix staircase and steel beam installation.
The ideal Site Manager must have:
- Have CAT A / B Fit Out experience
- Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
- Have experience in managing temporary works.
- Major experience in structural alterations.
- Experience and understanding of the floor plate of the building
- Understanding of programmes and ability to handle minutes efficiently
- Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Site Manager on commercial projects
- Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
- SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certs/ TWC Ticket
