About Us

ILES FCA is a dynamic and growing financial consultancy firm under FCA Business. We specialize in providing expert financial advisory and accounting services, helping businesses thrive with strategic insights and compliance solutions. We are now looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

The Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance team with day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and account management. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional financial environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable
• Assisting with monthly financial reports and reconciliations
• Supporting tax calculations and compliance processes
• Preparing journal entries and maintaining financial records
• Assisting in budgeting and cost analysis
• Collaborating with senior accountants to ensure accuracy in financial statements
• Supporting audit preparations and financial reviews
• Handling general administrative finance duties

Skills & Experience
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or working towards a qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA)
• 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Xero is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional finance environment
