We are now looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
The Role
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance team with day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and account management. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable
• Assisting with monthly financial reports and reconciliations
• Supporting tax calculations and compliance processes
• Preparing journal entries and maintaining financial records
• Assisting in budgeting and cost analysis
• Collaborating with senior accountants to ensure accuracy in financial statements
• Supporting audit preparations and financial reviews
• Handling general administrative finance duties
Skills & Experience
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or working towards a qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA)
• 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Xero is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional finance environment
