Post Title: Private Rented Temporary Accommodation Worker

Team: Homeless Accommodation Support Service

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Private Rented Temporary Accommodation Worker. In this rewarding role, you will provide vital support to individuals and families experiencing housing challenges. You will assist in providing safe, temporary housing solutions as well as offering guidance and support to help customers to navigate their accommodation needs. You will work alongside a dynamic team to ensure the smooth running of temporary housing services.

The ideal applicant will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life. We are looking for somebody who is empathetic that can work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. The Private Rented Temporary Accommodation Worker will be required to manage multiple cases simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Immediately responsible to Temporary Accommodation Coordinator

Town Hall, Bury or any other base within the borough, as required

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
