Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week

(Part-time and Flexible casual contracts also available)

Location: Base Auchenharvie Leisure Centre with requirement to travel across North Ayrshire

Role Summary:

  • To proactively promote and deliver within the Health & Wellbeing Service and all related projects and events delivered by the Active Lifestyles Team
  • Delivery of health checks and healthy lifestyle advice within local communities, referring to partner agencies where appropriate
  • Delivery of consultations and safe and effective exercise prescription for participants referred into the Active North Ayrshire Physical Activity on Referral Programme
  • Maintain databases and records within the Physical Activity programme ensuring compliance with confidentiality and access

You Must Have:

  • Qualification in physical activity, health, wellbeing or fitness (HND or CIMSPA Level2)
  • REPS Level 3 Qualification in Physical Activity on Referral or be working towards this.
    (Assistance may be given in gaining this qualification to the right candidate – Training salary LW £12.60 / hr)
  • Full Drivers Licence is desirable
